About Casey Engelman

Casey relocated to the midcoast several years ago and man is she happy she did. She attended culinary school in Napa Valley and afterward worked in various restaurants in California and Chicago. She is the Stones Throw bread czar and business whiz.

About Laura Gertner

Laura is the truly local half of our outfit— she grew up in the Midcoast and cooked at local restaurants Lost Kitchen, Saltwater Farm & Sammy’s Deluxe. She is our resident cake guru and logistical savant. She wishes she had a dog, but loves her backyard chickens and growing beautiful blooms to don her cakes at events.
